Mexico GP 2026 sells out tickets for Pérez's F1 return

The Mexico City Grand Prix for 2026 has sold out all tickets, heralding Sergio 'Checo' Pérez's return to Formula 1. The Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez will be at full capacity due to fan excitement. This edition promises to be unforgettable amid Mexican traditions.

The Mexico City Grand Prix announced that all available tickets for the 2026 edition have sold out, coinciding with Sergio 'Checo' Pérez's return to Formula 1. Via social media, the organizers shared: '¡Gracias AF1CIÓN! SOLD OUT in these sales stages for the #MexicoGP 2026. See you at the Autódromo to keep making H1ST0RIA'.

The cheapest tickets cost 3,900 pesos, while the most expensive reached 61,750 pesos in the Box Main Grandstand + Speed Lounge zone. The organization emphasized: 'The biggest F1ESTA of the year will live a new edition with full capacity driven by the vibe of its fans, the colors and Mexican traditions that characterize us, in what will be an unforgettable event'.

By comparison, the 2025 edition recorded attendance of 401,326 people over the three-day event, the second-best figure since Formula 1's return to Mexico in 2015, just behind the 404,958 attendees in 2024. Federico González Compeán, director of the Grand Prix, explained to MILENIO-La Afición: 'No more people can fit, we're practically near saturation, four years ago we added the last grandstand that fit, we no longer have space for more, so attendance is very consolidated'.

This sell-out reflects growing interest in F1 in Mexico, particularly with Pérez's return, and confirms the track has reached its capacity limit.
