President Javier Milei spoke at the American Business Forum in Miami, thanking Donald Trump, reaffirming his economic direction, and pledging to build majorities for reforms. He criticized communism and the 'kuka risk' while commenting on New York elections. He received the city key from Mayor Francis Suárez.

The American Business Forum (ABF) took place for its second day at Miami's Kaseya Center, with a 15 million dollar investment backed by Saudi Arabia's sovereign fund. Attendees included Donald Trump, 2025 Nobel Peace Prize winner María Corina Machado, and Lionel Messi, who spoke the previous day.

In his address to nearly 10,000 people, Javier Milei recounted his La Libertad Avanza (LLA) coalition's electoral victory in the October 26 legislative elections. "We did everything they told us not to do and we had a great triumph," he said, highlighting the national win and a 14-point comeback in Buenos Aires. LLA increased its seats from 37 to 101 deputies and from 6 to 20 senators, enabling "the most reformist Congress in Argentine history" starting in December.

Milei thanked Trump and reaffirmed his economic stabilization plan, achieved without political consensus but with social support. He criticized the opposition for trying to destabilize his administration and warned of the "kuka risk," linking it to socialism. On Zohran Mamdani's election as New York mayor, a socialist-democrat, he urged: "Don't let yourselves be intimidated by some local results." He added that "the left has won the battle of ideas, that's why communism is closer" and tied it to the "21st-century socialism, or, as known in these lands, the woke."

The president stressed: "There is no economic growth without defending the right to life and private property." He pledged to build majorities with "economically rational Congress members" to pass reforms including labor modernization, deregulation, tax cuts, and penal law changes. He invited the international community to invest in Argentina and support the capitalist model.

He included a joke about Messi: "I can sometimes congratulate a lefty too," adding: "He is one of our most illustrious athletes and a pride for all Argentines." After the speech, he briefly met Rafael Nadal and headed to Palm Beach for CPAC. Accompanied by Karina Milei, Luis Caputo, and Pablo Quirno, he received the city key from Francis Suárez.
