Military production minister calls for expanding industrial cooperation

Salah Gombalat, Minister of State for Military Production, held a meeting with company chairpersons to review ongoing projects and push for greater private sector involvement.

Salah Gombalat met with heads of companies under the Ministry of State for Military Production. The discussion focused on project progress, implementation rates and development plans.

Gombalat stressed the need to expand partnerships with the private sector. He said this would maximise technical, technological and human capabilities while increasing production capacity and supporting localisation efforts.

The minister highlighted the value of existing ties for technology transfer and joint manufacturing. He called for strict adherence to timelines and greater investment in research and development, which he described as the “driving force” behind industrial growth.
