Two parents in Moorhead, Minnesota, face felony charges after their child allegedly distributed THC gummies at Horizon Middle School, causing 12 students to become ill.
Martin Hulst, 40, and Amanda Hulst, 43, were charged with nine felonies including possession of a controlled substance and child endangerment. Police said the couple's child brought sour strip belts containing 300 mg of THC to school on Monday and shared them with classmates. Two students were hospitalized while others were sent home with nausea symptoms.
