Sony Pictures Television is developing an untitled series for Hulu, inspired by her music, as confirmed by Billboard and first reported by Deadline on December 18, 2025.
Lambert and her longtime manager Marion Kraft's Shopkeeper Management will serve as executive producers. Judalina Neira, who worked on the Amazon series 'Daisy Jones & The Six,' will executive produce, showrun, and write the show. The plot follows a woman helping her friend escape an abusive marriage, with the pair attempting to start anew in Texas.
This marks another step for Lambert in TV, following her 2012 guest role as Lacey Ford on 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' and her early career launch as a contestant on the music competition 'Nashville Star.'
