NetEase has banned nearly 500 players from Marvel Rivals after detecting unauthorized cheats following a recent update. The company shared some names, user IDs and ranks in a blog post on its zero-tolerance policy.

The action came after telemetry showed players promoting third-party enhancements over the weekend. Ranks affected ranged from Bronze to Celestial. NetEase described the response as an immediate targeted purge to protect fair play in the game.
