Netflix adds WWE library to US streaming lineup

Netflix has expanded its partnership with WWE through a non-exclusive deal, granting US viewers access to the wrestling promotion's extensive library of past events. This includes iconic premium live events like WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble from before September 2025, available immediately on the platform. The agreement also covers WWE documentaries and original programming.

The deal builds on the existing collaboration between Netflix and WWE, which began in January 2025. Under the new arrangement, Netflix becomes the US home for WWE's library, though the access is non-exclusive. Premium live events predating September 2025, such as WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble, are now streaming on the platform right away. In addition, Netflix will offer WWE's documentaries and other original content.

This announcement precedes the January 20 release of season 2 of the docuseries “WWE Unreal.” The show's logline describes it as: “Wild plot twists. Larger-than-life personas. And a whole lot of drama. Go behind the scenes with the biggest Superstars and back into the writer’s room on the road to SummerSlam.” The series first premiered on Netflix in July 2025 with five episodes, produced by Skydance Sports, NFL Films, Omaha Productions, and WWE.

Netflix already holds exclusive rights to WWE's flagship weekly show, Monday Night Raw, in the US, Canada, the UK, and Latin America, with plans to expand to more territories. Since its January 2025 launch, “Raw: 2025” has been a hit, ranking among the top 10 English-language TV titles globally on Netflix almost every week. All episodes from 2025 remain available, and “Raw: 2026” is already underway.

WWE, a subsidiary of TKO Group Holdings, delivers wrestling content weekly throughout the year. Beyond Netflix, it partners with broadcasters including ESPN, NBCUniversal, USA Network, and the CW. On Netflix, WWE joins a roster of sports offerings that includes deals with the NFL, MLB, and the Women’s World Cup.
