New Balance has revealed details of its upcoming 1954R runner in an all-black colorway. The model follows the brand's recent releases like the 1906R.
The Boston-based company is introducing the 1954R as its next mainline silhouette. The Triple Black version features a heavily paneled upper with breathable mesh, synthetic overlays, and a molded plastic heel cage.
Underfoot, the design includes a black midsole with ABZORB cushioning and a segmented outsole for traction. The monochromatic look gives the technical silhouette a minimalist appearance.
The model draws from late-2000s performance designs and has surfaced in leaks ahead of any official rollout.
