Norqain introduces updated Adventure watch in 40mm size

Swiss watchmaker Norqain has refreshed its Adventure collection with a new 40mm model for 2026, replacing the existing 42mm versions. The update includes design enhancements and COSC certification for the movement, aimed at broadening appeal for all-terrain use. Prices start at EUR 3,200.

Founded in 2018, Norqain has established itself as a specialist in robust adventure watches tied to mountaineering themes, with collections like Independence, Freedom, Wild One, and Adventure. The Norqain Adventure, one of the brand's early all-terrain models, returns in 2026 with a 40mm case that fits between the previous 37mm and 42mm options, offering a balanced size for sports and exploration activities.

The case retains core features such as 200m water resistance and a screw-down crown, while introducing updates like crown guards, a pronounced polished bevel on the side, and a unidirectional bezel with an aluminum insert featuring a 60-minute scale and triangular markers at cardinal points. The bezel replaces the prior ceramic insert and includes diamond-like knurling. Measuring 40mm in diameter, 12.5mm thick, and 48.30mm lug-to-lug, the case has brushed surfaces with polished accents and a lateral plaque on the left side. A colored ring on the crown matches the dial.

Dial changes add distinct character: an embossed mountain pattern in grey or dark green (replacing the basket weave), a lumed ring beneath the domed sapphire crystal, and redesigned faceted rhodium-plated hands and markers with Super-LumiNova in light blue or light grey. Hands are larger and partially openworked, markers are rectangular (previously trapezoids) with an asymmetrical element at 12 o'clock, and the date window is now at 6 o'clock in a circular frame.

The movement, Norqain Calibre N08 based on Sellita SW200, operates at 4Hz with 41 hours of power reserve and is now COSC chronometer-certified, visible through a sapphire caseback with a custom rotor. Straps include a new rubber design with the mountain pattern, color-matched to dial and bezel, available with pin buckle or folding clasp; a stainless steel bracelet option is also offered.

As part of the permanent collection, the Norqain Adventure 40mm is available for orders, succeeding the Adventure Sport 42mm which retailed for EUR 2,270. More information is at norqain.com.
