Oskar Olausson finalizing deal to join Frölunda

Swedish forward Oskar Olausson is close to returning to the SHL after five seasons in North America. The 23-year-old is finalizing negotiations with Frölunda, according to reports. He is expected to relocate to Göteborg ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Olausson was selected 28th overall by the Colorado Avalanche in the NHL draft. He has spent time in the OHL as a junior before joining the Avalanche organization, where he appeared in three NHL games and 226 AHL contests.
