Otorita Ibu Kota Nusantara spokesperson Troy Harold Yohanes Pantouw died on Saturday, 25 July 2026, in his Rusun ASN room at Kota Nusantara.
Troy drew his last breath at 14.25 WITA due to natural causes. He was found not breathing in his room at Rusun ASN 3 Tower 6 after his driver forced open the door.
Deputi Bidang Pengendalian Pembangunan Otorita IKN Thomas Umbu Pati Tena Bolodadi said Troy was taken to RS Hermina IKN around 12.45 WITA. Doctors confirmed the death from natural causes with no suspicious signs.
Troy had a history of hypertension and was scheduled to depart for Balikpapan at 08.00 WITA to lead worship. His body was flown to Jakarta and is expected to arrive on Sunday morning, 26 July 2026.
His passing left deep sorrow among Otorita IKN staff. He was known as an early official who oversaw the capital relocation since 2021.
