Packers running back Josh Jacobs arrested on domestic charges

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs was arrested Tuesday and faces five charges related to an alleged domestic incident. Authorities responded to a disturbance on May 23. Jacobs turned himself in and his attorneys said he denies the allegations.

The Hobart-Lawrence Police Department in Wisconsin booked Jacobs into the Brown County Jail. The charges include battery domestic abuse, criminal damage to property domestic abuse, disorderly conduct domestic abuse, strangulation and suffocation, and intimidation of a victim. Police responded to the complaint at 8:37 a.m. on May 23, according to a department release. NFL Media reported that Jacobs surrendered to authorities on Tuesday. The investigation remains ongoing and police released no further details at this time.
