Paris Hilton marked a personal victory Tuesday as Utah revoked the license of her former school following years of abuse claims.
The 43-year-old socialite alleged in 2020 that she endured verbal, physical, emotional and psychological torture at Provo Canyon, a psychiatric youth residential facility in Utah. She also testified in Congress that she was sexually abused and force-fed medications while a student there.
State officials revoked the license of the Springville campus for failing to provide applicable health and safety services. Citations dating back to 2025 cited unnecessary restraint, neglect of care and aggressive physical contact with clients. All services must end by August 6.
Hilton posted on X that she had waited years for the news. She told the Daily Mail the state confirmed what survivors already knew and that no institution is too powerful to face accountability.
