Paul McCartney hosted a listening event at Abbey Road Studios on May 5 to preview his upcoming album The Boys Of Dungeon Lane. The record features his first-ever duet with former Beatles bandmate Ringo Starr on the track Home To Us. The album is scheduled for release on May 29.
McCartney shared personal stories behind several songs during the event for about 50 fans. He described Home To Us as a reflection on their working-class roots in Liverpool, with Starr contributing vocals and drums. The pair swapped lines on the track after initial confusion over what Starr was asked to record, marking their first duet after decades of collaboration since 1962.
