Pokemon Legends: Z-A provides free mystery gifts for players

The Pokemon Company is distributing various free items and Pokemon through Mystery Gift in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, especially tied to the recent Mega Dimension DLC launch. These include rare Mega Stones, helpful items, and special Pokemon available for a limited time. Players should claim them quickly to enhance their adventure in Lumiose City.

Overview of Free Mystery Gifts

Pokemon Legends: Z-A continues the series tradition of offering free in-game bonuses via Mystery Gift, unlocked after speaking with Mable at the Pokemon Research Lab early in the game. With the Mega Dimension DLC's release, several new distributions are available, providing items, Pokemon, and Mega Stones that aid in battles and exploration. These gifts are time-limited, so prompt redemption is recommended.

Early Adopter Bonus: Ralts with Gardevoirite

Available until February 28, 2026, players who purchase the game before this date can claim a free Ralts holding a Gardevoirite Mega Stone. This allows Gardevoir to Mega Evolve in battle. To redeem, access the Link Play menu, select Mystery Gift, choose Get via Internet, and pick Ralts from the list. If missed, Gardevoirite can still be obtained later from Quasartico Inc.

Alpha Charizard

Until January 19, 2026, enter the code B1G0006 in the Get with Code/Password option under Link Play to receive a level 36 Alpha Charizard that knows Solar Beam. This powerful Pokemon helps tackle challenges in Hyperspace Lumiose.

Post-Game Mega Stones

After completing the main story, claim the Diancite Mega Stone by selecting Shine Bright Like A Gemstone in Mystery Gift. It enables Diancie to Mega Evolve and starts a side quest at Looker Bureau in Rouge Sector 5. Similarly, Project M provides Mewtwonite X and Y, unlocking a Mewtwo side mission at Lysandre Labs in Magenta Sector 2.

Item Set

Valid until March 31, 2027, the code PREPAR1NG grants 5 Max Revives, 10 Full Restores, and 10 Ultra Balls, useful for the Z-A Royale and Pokedex completion.

Mega Dimension DLC Bonuses

Purchasers of the DLC before February 28, 2026, receive a Luxurious Poke Ball Set (3 each of Fast, Lure, Level, and Heavy Balls) via email code, redeemable until March 10, 2026. Additionally, Holo-X and Holo-Y apparel sets are automatically added to the wardrobe for trainer customization.
