Police vehicle overturns during suspect pursuit in Samambaia

On the night of Wednesday, October 29, a team from the Federal District Military Police (PMDF) began a pursuit in Samambaia after an individual fired shots from a firearm in the direction of a police vehicle. The incident took place at QR 615, Conjunto 01, where the team requested support to approach the suspect.

During the chase, the vehicle, which was carrying four officers, ended up overturning. According to the force, the police officers are stable and did not suffer injuries in the accident. Images obtained by Metrópoles record the overturned vehicle at the scene, highlighting the severity of the situation without casualties among the agents.

The suspect, described as the person responsible for the shots against the vehicle, was not found after the incident. The PMDF provided no further details on the man's identity or the reason for the gunfire, but confirmed that the pursuit was prompted by the need for an approach. Such incidents reflect the challenges faced by police in urban areas of the Federal District, where routine operations can quickly escalate into high-risk situations.
