President Taye Atske Selassie received United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Barham Salih. The commissioner praised Ethiopia's role in hosting refugees and its inclusion roadmap while also congratulating the Prosperity Party on the election victory.
Addis Ababa Political Parties Joint Council stated that the civility shown by competing parties enabled the election to conclude in complete peace. Teachers from Medawelabu University noted that the Prosperity Party must honor the trust placed in it by serving the people with integrity.
