São Paulo government opens registrations for 20,000 high school internships

The São Paulo state government, partnering with CIEE, has opened registrations for the Bolsa Estágio Ensino Médio (BEEM) program, providing 20,000 internship spots for technical high school students in the state network. Free registrations are available until July 20 via www.beem.sp.gov.br.

The BEEM program aims to encourage professional experience before completing studies. Applicants must have a CIEE platform registration and apply via the official website's online form.

Requirements include being in the 2nd or 3rd year of technical high school at a state public school, being at least 16 years old by the internship start, over 85% attendance in the semester, and having taken the Provão Paulista the previous year.

Spots pay R$ 703.38 monthly for 20 hours a week, R$ 422.03 for fewer hours, and R$ 851.46 for technology courses. Transport aid is provided, along with potential hiring as Jovem Aprendiz or under CLT.

Over 3,000 companies are involved, assigning candidates to nearby vacancies. No prior experience is required.
