Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum posted a Christmas message on her X account on December 24, 2025, reminding that there will be no morning press conferences for the rest of the week. In the video, Sheinbaum appeared alongside her husband, Jesús María Tarriba, to wish a happy Christmas to the Mexican people.

"We wish a happy Christmas to all Mexican families. Tonight there is hope, love, and fraternity in every corner of the country. The most important things are the values and love for others, for the family, and for our dear Mexico", wrote the president. She added thanks to parents and grandparents for teaching to resist with dignity and to love with the soul, and to children for reminding the value of the fight.

Sheinbaum highlighted Mexico's cultural greatness as a source of spiritual nourishment and reiterated that "the most important thing is not material, but love for others, love for the family, and for our dear Mexico". Tarriba also participated, wishing families to spend Christmas in peace and union.

The president will suspend the mañaneras until Monday, December 29, when she will resume the conferences in the Tesorería Hall of the National Palace. She will spend the holidays in Acapulco with her family and return to Mexico City over the weekend. This 2025 marks her second Christmas as president, in a significant year ahead of challenges like the T-MEC review, the organization of the 2026 World Cup, and tariff issues with the United States.

The message reflects a tone of reflection and unity amid the December festivities, confirming no media dialogues on December 24, 25, or New Year's.
