The Maxwell Weinberg Award for Motion Picture Publicity Campaign went to the Warner Bros. Pictures campaign for Sinners, beating nominees including 28 Years Later from Sony Pictures Entertainment, The Housemaid from Lionsgate, KPop Demon Hunters from Netflix, Lilo & Stitch from Walt Disney Studios, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning from Paramount Pictures, and Wicked: For Good from Universal Pictures.

In the television category, the Maxwell Weinberg Award was awarded to the Warner Bros. Television/HBO campaign for The Pitt, which outshone Andor from Walt Disney Studios and Lucasfilm/Disney+, Beyond the Gates from CBS Studios/CBS, Nobody Wants This from 20th Television/Netflix, Stranger Things 5 from Netflix, and The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox from 20th Television/Hulu.

Noah Wyle, star of The Pitt, received the Television Showperson of the Year award, while Kate Hudson, from Song Sung Blue, was named Motion Picture Showperson of the Year.

Jimmy Kimmel accepted the President's Award, recognizing his resilience amid censorship challenges. In his speech, Kimmel joked, “When they told me I will be getting the president’s award, I was like, ‘Wow, that’s great. I thought he hated me.’” He clarified the reference was to the guild's president, John, and added, “He called me and tried to force me off the air. Then I found out the President was John.” Kimmel thanked the publicists for their support, especially during his September vacation, and dedicated the award to those who promote others.

Other honors included the Les Mason Award for Career Achievement in Publicity to Chrissy Quesada of Sony Pictures; Publicist of the Year to Michelle Alt of Paramount Pictures; International Media Award to Ali Plumb of BBC Radio, United Kingdom; and Press Award to Kevin McCarthy of On Film . . . With Kevin McCarthy. Variety's Angelique Jackson and Jazz Tangcay were nominated in the Press category.

Cynthia Swartz received the Bob Yeager Award for Community Service, and Pamela Golum got the Henri Bollinger Award for Special Merit. In photography, Atsushi Nishijima won for motion pictures, and Jake Giles Netter for television.
