SOBxRBE releases first song in seven years

Bay Area rap group SOBxRBE has released its first new music in seven years with the single "Ten Summers." The track arrives after the crew played its first show in that time span last March.

Yhung T.O., DaBoii, and Slimmy B formed SOBxRBE in 2016. The new song marks the 10th anniversary of the group’s founding.

In a statement the members said the track is about “coming back together on our own terms and showing that you can move beyond things that once felt impossible to overcome.” They added that time had allowed them to “grow up, become fathers and understand what really matters.”

The single is accompanied by a music video. SOBxRBE is scheduled to perform at Back 2 the Bay in San Jose and New West Coast in Salt Lake City later this year, with more dates expected to be announced.
