Smith posted footage on Instagram showing a gate agent named Erick Edwards near the jetway. He repeatedly questioned the employee’s actions before the door closed, then demanded a supervisor.
The rapper admitted he didn’t realize his pillow and blanket counted as separate carry-ons under Southwest rules. He says he offered to check them but felt the situation escalated when the agent allegedly got in his face and balled a fist.
Smith activated his Meta Glasses to record and later demanded respect for passengers even during mistakes. Fans flooded comments with mixed takes, some blaming the airline’s policies while others joked he looked late for his flight.
