Spotify and Billboard Japan announce women in music concert

Spotify and Billboard Japan have teamed up for a special concert celebrating rising women artists. The event, called Women in Music — Equal Stage, is set for June 9 in Tokyo.

The show will feature dance-pop group ATARASHII GAKKO!, rappers Awich and LANA, and rock duo Hitsujibungaku. It forms part of MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN WEEK and will be held at SGC Hall Ariake with reserved seating only. TV Asashi announcer Chie Honma is scheduled to serve as MC for the evening.
