The Pittsburgh Steelers placed rookie Gennings Dunker at left guard and Max Iheanachor at right tackle during this weekend's minicamp. The alignments offer an early look at how the team plans to use its two new offensive linemen.
Mark Kaboly of Steelers Depot reported the positions after observing the sessions. “Gennings Dunker at left guard and Max Iheanachor at right tackle. Maybe that means something, maybe it doesn’t,” he wrote on X. Dunker, drafted in the third round from Iowa, acknowledged the adjustment. “You gotta look for a couple different things. And again it happens, just happens a little bit faster,” he said via Steelers.com. He added he will play wherever needed.
