Strange Scaffold announces Truck–kun Is Supporting Me From Another World?!

Strange Scaffold has revealed a new vehicular action visual novel titled Truck–kun Is Supporting Me From Another World?! The game parodies isekai tropes where protagonists get transported to fantasy worlds by trucks. It is set for release later this year on PC via Steam, with Xbox Series X and S versions added post-announcement.

Strange Scaffold, known for titles like I Am Your Beast, El Paso, Elsewhere, An Airport for Aliens Currently Run by Dogs, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown, Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator, and Space Warlord Baby Trading Simulator, announced its latest project. Truck–kun Is Supporting Me From Another World?! features the full punctuation in its name and centers on driving an isekai truck to smash objects and pedestrians, powering up protagonist Carissa in a fantasy realm after she gets hit by the truck on her way to a new job. Hitting pedestrians transforms them into monsters that fight Carissa, allowing her to level up, while players must dodge police to avoid capture. A small screen shows Carissa's progress, blending active truck driving with passive visual novel elements. The game draws from the 'truck-kun' anime meme, where trucks repeatedly send characters to other worlds. Its press release highlights a soundtrack by David Mason, composer of Dredge, and features like 'a giant, screaming man whose meat you can legally drive through.' Initially planned for PC via Steam later this year, an update confirmed Xbox Series X and S releases.
