Superyacht Technology Show 2026 introduces startup zone

The Superyacht Technology Show is launching a dedicated Startup Zone at its 2026 edition in partnership with Yachting Ventures. The event, set for 10–11 March 2026 at the World Trade Centre Barcelona, focuses on new and emerging technologies in the superyacht industry. This initiative aims to connect startups with key decision-makers in the sector.

The Superyacht Technology Show, now in its sixth edition, will feature more than 60 exhibitors, including captains, technical crew, shipyards, designers, and owner representatives responsible for specifying and implementing technology on modern superyachts. Held at the World Trade Centre Barcelona from 10–11 March 2026, it is described as the only independent event exclusively dedicated to new, existing, and emerging technology in the superyacht industry.

The newly introduced Startup Zone, launched in partnership with Yachting Ventures, seeks to provide startups with direct access to decision-makers looking for operational, sustainability, and performance-driven solutions. "The Startup Zone reflects where our industry is heading," says Jack Robinson, founder and director of the show. "Innovation doesn’t only come from established players – it increasingly comes from ambitious startups challenging traditional thinking. By creating a dedicated space for them at the Superyacht Technology Show 2026, we’re ensuring fresh ideas are placed directly in front of the people who can implement them onboard."

Gabbi Richardson, founder of Yachting Ventures, highlights the event's targeted nature: "The Superyacht Technology Show is a highly focused, niche event, with a strong presence of captains, technical crew and owner representatives – the people directly involved in specifying and purchasing technology onboard." She adds, "Alongside the larger international shows, we’re increasingly seeing real value in these more targeted gatherings, where startups can have meaningful conversations with the right decision-makers in a concentrated setting."

A Superyacht Technology Conference will run alongside the show, featuring 20 expert speakers. The programme covers design, engineering, digital intelligence, and onboard experience, including topics such as AI-driven maintenance, low-emission propulsion, intelligent AV systems, and the exclusive launch of SailXplorer.

Featured startups include All Hands Yacht Management, an AI-powered platform for yacht operations; Fetch, creators of quiet wave energy generators; Superyacht Fitness, offering wellness solutions; TowPro, monitoring technology for yacht tenders and jet skis; and YachtPrep, a digital platform for maintenance and documentation.
