Sweden beat Italy 3-0 on Friday evening in the IIHF World Championship. The first line delivered the key goals while Anton Frondell left the game after a collision.
Tre Kronor scored through Carl Grundström early in the first period before Ivar Stenberg netted twice. Stenberg's first goal made it 2-0 on a power play and his second completed the scoring on a counterattack. Lucas Raymond and Viggo Björck assisted on both of Stenberg's goals. Raymond now leads the tournament with nine points after two assists in the match.
