Travis Garland from DWTS auditions for AGT with Aerosmith song

Singer Travis Garland, known for his work on Dancing with the Stars, performed an audition for America's Got Talent by singing Aerosmith's "Dream On." The segment is scheduled to air on NBC on July 7.

Garland delivered a powerful rendition of the 1970s rock classic, which reached No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1976. Judges Howie Mandel, Mel B, Sofia Vergara and Simon Cowell watched as he performed the chorus.

The Lubbock, Texas native has served as a live vocalist on Dancing with the Stars since 2015. During the audition, he discussed his long pursuit of a solo career and the challenges involved.

America's Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC and streams on Peacock the following day. Billboard released an exclusive preview clip of the performance ahead of the broadcast.
