Ty Segall will release his new album Chrome and the EP Love Fuzzz on August 28 through Drag City. The garage-rock musician leads the releases with the track Black Paint.
Chrome is described as Segall's most maximalist effort in years. It follows last year's Possession and a string of varied projects. The accompanying EP Love Fuzzz collects outtakes from the Chrome recording sessions. It includes a remake of a Twins track titled Love Fuzzz. The Black Paint video was filmed by Alex Bulli during Segall's live shows. His band for the performances included Ben Boye, Evan Burrows, Mikal Cronin, and Emmett Kelly. The album was recorded at Sonic Ranch with Cooper Crain.
