UP YouTuber Shadab Jakati arrested for objectionable video, released on bail

Uttar Pradesh social media influencer Shadab Jakati was arrested for making an objectionable viral video involving a minor. Police took him into custody, but the court granted him bail. The case relates to the viral '10 rupees biscuit' video.

Shadab Jakati, a popular YouTuber and content creator, was recently arrested in Uttar Pradesh. Reports published on November 28, 2025, state that he was taken into custody for a viral video that included a minor girl and featured obscene content. The video's famous line, '10 rupees biscuit kitne ka hai ji,' became widely shared online.

Uttar Pradesh police accused Shadab of making objectionable remarks. Action followed a complaint from the NCPCR (National Commission for Protection of Child Rights). The court granted him bail, but the incident serves as a warning for content creators.

According to sources, several creators like Ranveer Allahbadia and Aamir were also arrested in 2025 for similar reasons. Experts emphasize that while creating videos for YouTube or Instagram, legal compliance is essential. Spreading false information, inciting hate, obscenity, or fake news can lead to jail time.

This case highlights the importance of ethics and legal boundaries on social media. Creators must consider public peace and sensitivity.
