During this period, Uppsala residents can nominate one or more individuals who have contributed to better quality of life for themselves or someone close to them. The prize goes to employees in Uppsala municipality or those working on the municipality's behalf in these areas.
Last year's winner, Agneta Schelen, describes the prize as the best one can receive. She states: "Winning has truly made me feel proud of the work I do together with my colleagues and of working in Uppsala municipality. I really hope that many, both colleagues and users, will nominate for this year's prize!"
