Valdemar says election will be difficult without Michelle

PL president Valdemar Costa Neto is set to tell former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro on Tuesday that the party could lose the election to Lula without her involvement.

Valdemar Costa Neto and Michelle Bolsonaro are meeting at PL headquarters in Brasília on Tuesday (30). The party leader told the column that he does not know the outcome of the conversation but that losing the former first lady would make the election very difficult.

The meeting follows a video released by Michelle on Wednesday (24) in which she criticized Jair Bolsonaro's son Flávio. Flávio's aides say internal polls show no drop in voting intentions.

Flávio Bolsonaro is in Argentina for meetings with President Javier Milei. Valdemar supports Michelle running for Senate in the Federal District.
