Violet Grohl performs 'Bug in the Cake' on Fallon

Violet Grohl appeared on The Tonight Show to perform her song

Violet Grohl, daughter of Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, took the stage on The Tonight Show for the performance. The track comes from her debut album Be Sweet to Me, released May 29 via Aurora Records/Republic Records. The album was recorded from late 2024 into early 2025 at producer Justin Raisen’s Los Angeles home studio. Grohl cited inspiration from late 1980s and early 1990s alternative acts including Pixies, Soundgarden, Cocteau Twins, and the Breeders. In a recent interview, Grohl addressed her status as a nepo baby. “Obviously, doors are open for me because of my last name,” she told The Forty-Five. “It’s not something I’m ever going to hide behind.”
