Virgin Music Group to distribute Seeker Music catalog globally

Seeker Music Group has formed a global distribution partnership with Virgin Music Group. The deal covers Seeker’s catalog recordings and new projects. It was announced on June 11.

“This partnership is a game-changer for Seeker in how we elevate our catalog and artists,” said Evan Bogart, CEO of Seeker Music. He highlighted artists including Nu Shooz, Run the Jewels, Joan Jett and Christopher Cross.

Cindy James, general manager of Virgin Music Group North America, said Seeker represents a forward-thinking company. Steven Melrose, Seeker’s Chief Creative Officer, noted the teams share creative passion.

Last month Seeker closed its inaugural $267 million asset-backed securitization. The partnership aims to amplify music and connect with new audiences worldwide.
