The United Nations World Food Programme (UNWFP) in Ethiopia is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from qualified service providers for various outsourced services at its main office in Addis Ababa and sub-offices in different parts of the country. This announcement, referenced as EOI-003-2025, targets well-established firms with at least three years of experience in the relevant fields.
The required services include supervisor roles, cleaning/janitorial, messenger/photocopying/office assistants, reception, registry handling, office casual assistants for tea/coffee/refreshments, cooks/cafeteria services, porters, gardening, car wash, plumbing, generator operation, fuel attendant, senior handyman, handyman (masonry), and assistant handyman (masonry). Service providers must supply cleaning materials and equipment for cleaning services. Companies must demonstrate legal capacity to operate in the specified locations, disclosing if they can cover all or only some sites.
Interested applicants need to submit: a written confirmation of interest, filled WFP registration forms (obtainable via addisababa.procurement@wfp.org), company profile with services and licensed locations, valid business license including service category, commercial registration certificate, VAT registration, TIN certificate, memorandum of understanding/articles of association (for PLC or SC), three reference letters from clients, and other relevant documents. WFP will evaluate based on demonstrated experience, with added value for companies with disability policies or those owned by women.
Submissions must be emailed to addisababa.procurement@wfp.org by Tuesday, November 20, 2025, along with completed forms and documents. Those facing email difficulties can deliver in a sealed envelope marked 'CONFIDENTIAL - Pre-qualification for Various Outsourced Service Providers, EOI Number: EOI-003-25' to the WFP Registry at Bole Sub City Woreda 02, House Number 2753, Ring Road, P.O.
