PT Motul Indonesia Energy together with Ipone held the Wheels & Wonders Samosir 2026 touring event from June 29 to July 2, 2026. The activity drew participants from the company's internal team, distributors, and brand ambassadors to explore routes around Lake Toba.
The group passed through Medan, Berastagi, Air Terjun Sipiso-piso, Ujung Silalahi, Pangururan, and circled Pulau Samosir. The route offered a mix of urban roads, climbs, descents, and long curves in the mountainous area.
MIE Managing Director Welmart Purba said the activity provided an opportunity to experience Motul and Ipone products directly. According to him, the varied road contours posed a challenge as well as a different riding experience.
The Lake Toba area was chosen because it offers natural scenery and dynamic routes for Indonesia's motorcycle touring community.
