The Chicago White Sox have climbed sharply in the latest MLB power rankings after a strong stretch against top teams. They sit in a virtual tie for first place in the AL Central following a 38-32 record through 70 games.
The White Sox improved to No. 6 in the MLB.com rankings for the week of June 14, 2026, up three spots from the prior week. They defeated the reigning champion Dodgers two games to one and took two of three from the Braves during a demanding stretch.
Chicago began the season 6-13 but has gone 32-19 since. The team now holds a record that would have taken until late the previous year to reach under their 2024 performance.
Rankings place the Braves first, followed by the Dodgers, Brewers, Yankees and Rays. The White Sox face the Yankees next in a series without Aaron Judge.
