Egypt-Qatar Relations
Hossam Heiba, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), and Ghada Nour, Assistant Minister for Investment and Foreign Trade, met with Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, Chairman of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and several board members, in the presence of Egypt’s ambassador to Doha. The meeting reviewed the latest developments in Egypt’s investment climate ahead of new Qatari investments expected to enter the local market. Both sides agreed to continue close cooperation to accelerate project launches.
