Circle shares tumble after Open USD stablecoin launch

Circle stock fell more than 17 percent on Tuesday following the unveiling of Open USD, a new stablecoin backed by over 140 companies including Stripe, Coinbase and BlackRock.
Crowdfunding platform Kickstarter has apologised after facing backlash over new guidelines restricting adult-oriented projects. The company admitted it got the changes wrong and is reverting to its previous rules while developing better ones.

Amazon Web Services introduced a new infrastructure on Thursday allowing autonomous AI agents to make payments using stablecoins. The system, called Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Payments, was built in partnership with Coinbase and Stripe. It focuses initially on micropayments for digital services.
