Adidas commissioned golf accessory brand Dormie Workshop to create custom headcovers using its sneakers. The project produced three Samba-inspired designs and one based on the Gazelle.
The covers feature design elements drawn directly from the sneakers. Tongues and tags appear at the top while laces, stripes, and layered panels form the main body. Labels were crafted from the sneakers' brown gum outsoles.
The items were made for the Three Stripes golf team. They will not be released to the public.
Social media users have reacted positively to the designs, prompting suggestions for a possible retail version in the future.
