ASICS has introduced fresh colorways for its GT-2160 Breeze sandal, a breathable summer adaptation of the popular dad sneaker. The new options include Cream/Pure Silver and Piedmont Grey, available now on the company's Australian website for around $130. The model builds on the original sneaker's techy design with added outdoor features.
The GT-2160 Breeze transforms the classic ASICS GT-2160 sneaker, which gained popularity during the 2023 ASICS trend, into a sandal suited for hot weather. It incorporates cutouts and oval-net mesh on the uppers for enhanced breathability, along with practical elements like adjustable shoelaces and pull tabs for trail use. The original sneaker saw collaborations with brands such as Gallery Dept. and Above the Clouds, and even a floral Mary Jane version by Cecilie Bahnsen. The Breeze itself debuted in summer 2025 but now features these 2026 updates. ASICS offers the new Cream/Pure Silver and Piedmont Grey pairs through its Australian site. Other brands like New Balance and HOKA have released similar sneaker-sandal hybrids named Breeze.
