BeIN secures broadcasting rights for 2026 Premier Padel Tour

BeIN Media Group has renewed its partnership to broadcast the 2026 Premier Padel Tour and the International Padel Federation World Cup across 39 markets. The deal covers regions including the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey, Asia-Pacific, and North America, with coverage on BeIN Sports and the TOD streaming service in MENA. This extension underscores the growing global appeal of padel.

BeIN, the Qatar-based broadcaster, has locked in rights to air the 2026 season of the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour, organized by Qatar Sports Investments and governed by the International Padel Federation. The agreement also includes the 2026 FIP World Cup, a national team event scheduled for November 1 to 7.

The coverage spans 39 territories: the Middle East and North Africa (including Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and others), Turkey, Asia-Pacific (such as Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand), and North America (United States and Canada). Viewers in MENA can access matches via BeIN Sports channels and the TOD OTT platform, while other regions rely on BeIN Sports networks.

Premier Padel vice president for commercial growth, Rob Mitchell, highlighted the strategic importance of the deal: “Our partnership with beIN is central to Premier Padel’s global growth strategy, particularly in bringing the sport to new fans and audiences across the key emerging regions of MENA, Turkey, Asia-Pacific, and North America. The implementation of the new “Star Point” scoring system for the 2026 season brings new broadcast appeal and opportunity for enhanced fan engagement.”

BeIN Media Group chief sports officer Richard Verow echoed this enthusiasm: “We are delighted to be extending our partnership with Premier Padel, reinforcing beIN position as the home of one of the fastest-growing sports in the world. The 2026 season promises to be one of the most exciting yet and we look forward to bringing fans across our territories comprehensive, world-class coverage and behind-the-scenes content throughout the year.”

This renewal builds on BeIN's involvement since the 2023 merger of Premier Padel with the World Padel Tour following its acquisition by QSI. Nasser Al-Khelaifi, a Qatari businessman, chairs both Premier Padel and BeIN. The upcoming season features an expanded calendar of 24 tournaments across 17 countries, including debuts in the UK and South Africa. It kicks off with the Riyadh Season P1 in Saudi Arabia on February 9 and concludes with the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Finals in Barcelona, Spain, from December 7 to 13. BeIN also broadcasts the annual Hexagon Cup in 27 markets, further demonstrating its commitment to padel.
