Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Blake Snell will make his season debut on Saturday against the Atlanta Braves, manager Dave Roberts announced Friday. Snell will skip a final rehab start after three appearances in the minors.
Snell began the year on the injured list with left shoulder fatigue. He completed three rehab outings, with his longest coming last Sunday when he pitched four innings for Triple-A Oklahoma City and allowed two runs on two hits while striking out four batters. Roberts indicated Snell could face pitch-count restrictions in the matchup at Dodger Stadium.
