Blues sign Fabbri to contract and Dube to PTO with Kyrou injured

The St. Louis Blues have signed forward Robby Fabbri to a one-year, two-way contract and forward Dillon Dube to an AHL professional tryout. Additionally, forward Jordan Kyrou was placed on injured reserve with a lower-body injury, listed as week-to-week. Fabbri will join the team in Nashville on Thursday.

St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced the signing of forward Robby Fabbri to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 in the NHL and $300,000 in the AHL. The 29-year-old Fabbri, originally drafted by the Blues in the first round, No. 21 overall, in the 2014 NHL Draft, spent parts of his first four seasons with St. Louis. During that time, the Mississauga, Ontario native appeared in 164 regular-season games, recording 73 points (32 goals, 41 assists) and 60 penalty minutes. He also dressed in 10 postseason games during the Blues' 2019 Stanley Cup victory.

This season, Fabbri has played three games for the AHL's Charlotte Checkers, tallying two points (one goal, one assist). Across his NHL career, he has suited up for 442 regular-season games with St. Louis, Detroit, and Anaheim, accumulating 216 points (106 goals, 110 assists) and 203 penalty minutes.

In a separate move, the Blues signed forward Dillon Dube, 27, to a professional tryout with their AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds. Dube will report to Springfield once he receives his work visa. The Golden, British Columbia native was most recently with Minsk Dynamo in the KHL, where he posted 11 points (four goals, seven assists) and 25 penalty minutes in 42 regular-season games during the 2024-25 season. Originally drafted by the Calgary Flames in the second round, No. 56 overall, in the 2016 NHL Draft, Dube spent six seasons with Calgary, totaling 127 points (57 goals, 70 assists) and 105 penalty minutes in 325 regular-season games.

Meanwhile, the Blues placed forward Jordan Kyrou on injured reserve due to a lower-body injury. He is expected to be sidelined week-to-week.
