California man sentenced to life for stabbing wife 23 times

Kandynn Wilson, 34, was sentenced to life in prison without parole plus one year for the 2022 murder of his estranged wife Ericka Wilson.

Wilson took a vacation day from work to ambush Ericka Wilson in the parking lot of her apartment complex in Spring Valley. He stabbed her 23 times in the neck after waiting in his car wearing a ski mask. She called 911 during the attack but died at the scene despite efforts by deputies and firefighters to save her.
