Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgård front Valentino Vendetta campaign

Actors Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgård have collaborated for the first time as the faces of revived Valentino Vendetta fragrances.

The campaign images, shot by Inez & Vinoodh under creative director Alessandro Michele, were revealed on July 13. A film is scheduled for later this summer.

Johnson described the project as a look at an intense and fiery relationship. She noted Skarsgård’s calm demeanor and humor on set, even giving him the nickname Alexander Scarfsgård due to his wardrobe.

Skarsgård recalled using the original Vendetta scent in his youth. He praised the new Uomo version with notes of ginger, cinnamon liquor and patchouli, while calling Johnson’s driving in a dirt-road scene particularly intense.

Both actors said they hope to work together again.
