Disney CFO Hugh Johnson addressed the need for ongoing theme park expansions during a recent conference. He emphasized that growth in attendance depends on adding new attractions and areas rather than increasing crowds in existing spaces.

At the MoffettNathanson’s Media, Internet & Communications Conference, Johnson explained that Disney World cannot grow attendance without expanding its parks. He noted that simply adding more visitors to current facilities would harm the guest experience and damage the brand.
