Google hands Open Health Stack to Linux Foundation

The Linux Foundation plans to launch the Open Health Stack Software Foundation as a vendor-neutral home for the Google Open Health Stack project.

Google is contributing the project code and assets to the new foundation. Google.org is also providing a $3 million grant to support the initiative.

The move aims to create an independent organization for the health-related software project originally developed by Google.
