Gracie Abrams appeared in London wearing a T-shirt featuring a sketch of William Shakespeare and the words “Will Power.” The choice served as a reference to her boyfriend Paul Mescal’s role in the film Hamnet.
Abrams chose an all-white outfit topped with the graphic tee while out in the city on June 22. The design referenced Mescal’s performance as William Shakespeare in the 2025 drama Hamnet.
Mescal received award nominations for the role, including from the Golden Globes, BAFTAs and Critics Choice. The BAFTAs also marked the couple’s first red carpet appearance together.
Abrams is scheduled to make her acting debut in the A24 film Pleasing, directed by Halina Reijn. She described the project as unexpected but stimulating after reading the script.
