Interio by Godrej launches soft furnishings collection

Interio by Godrej, a furniture brand under the Godrej Enterprises Group, has introduced a new range of soft furnishings to expand its home solutions portfolio. The collection includes cushion covers, throws, table linens, and rugs, aimed at modern Indian homes. It emphasizes comfort, craftsmanship, and sustainability through partnerships with artisan collectives.

Interio by Godrej, part of the Godrej Enterprises Group, has expanded its offerings beyond furniture with the launch of a soft furnishings collection. This move targets the evolving needs of contemporary Indian households, providing options to refresh living spaces without major changes.

The debut range features cushion covers, throws, table linens, and rugs, made using handloom fabrics and hand-embroidered techniques. The brand has partnered with artisan collectives, including Heirloom Naga, to incorporate indigenous crafts and blend them with modern designs. Materials include non-impression velvets, textured jacquards, handloom-woven fabrics, and hand-embroidered details. Rugs are hand-tufted from Indian wool and viscose. Sustainability is integrated through natural dyes and eco-friendly materials, maintaining durability.

Dr. Dev Narayan Sarkar, Senior Vice President and Head of Consumer Business at Interio by Godrej, stated: “The modern Indian homes today are more fluid than ever, they are places to work, gather, unwind and express individuality and the consumers seeking products that bring together functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability. Our soft furnishings collection is built around this understanding, offering the flexibility to refresh and personalise interiors without a complete overhaul. From homes adapting spaces for hybrid work to design-conscious consumers looking for handcrafted textiles, this range reflects the many ways India lives today. From a business standpoint, we see soft furnishings as a strong growth lever, with the category expected to contribute meaningfully to our home solutions portfolio as consumer demand for design-led, sustainable products continues to rise.”

Priced from INR 499 to INR 22,000, the collection is available at Interio stores in metro, Tier 1, and Tier 2 cities across India. The brand intends to broaden its home accessories lineup in the months ahead.
